Today I am reflecting on a series of client and peer testimonials I’ve collected over the last few months. They’re full of kind words, warmth, and perfect sentiments to describe how I’ve added value in the world of these fellow humans.
As I was updating my website to include some new ones today I scanned the content of each one for a quick “title” for each. The list that formed accordingly is just awesome and I was called to share them here:
Wow - so of course I’m grateful for happy clients - I’m extra grateful for the ones who take time out of their busy lives to pen a few words to help me reach & support more people. But I’m extra, EXTRA grateful that these few summations organically put words to just about everything I try to do with and for my clients. Big love for that!
If you have a few more minutes…
Read about how I worked with each of these folks below and please take a few moments to visit each one of these businesses. They’re all full of HUGE heart and soul.
Accompany Atlanta - owned and operated by Amy Ard is an Atlanta-based group of critical care doulas. We had the opportunity to support Amy with brand and identity design through our branding program: Open for Business. In ten days we created her logo, supported her with content editing, built her a website, created print collateral, and launched her brand. NBD.
A bit about Accompany Atlanta in Amy’s words:
At Accompany Atlanta, we strive to ease your mind. We show up in critical moments to lend a hand, offer compassion, and advocate for your loved one when you can’t be there. That looks a lot like peace of mind. No one should be in an emergency room alone. When you or your loved one need urgent medical attention, we’ll be there day or night. We’re committed to being an active and engaged member of your care team. We offer compassion and comfort tailored to each client’s needs. That’s peace of mind for the whole family.
Mudfire is “the ATL's best spot to buy - or make! - handmade pottery! Open studio + gallery + lessons. Where clay meets community.” I love these folks to BITS! Owners Daphne and Deanna invited me to facilitate an all-day workshop for their cohort of resident and community ceramicists in early October. The day I built for them, based on my customizable workshop philosophy was full of magic, transformation, and loads of self-awareness (probably more than anyone was ready for).
Through a two hour group workshop focused on self-development and personal growth challenges I got to know everyone. And with nearly seven hours of breakout sessions I worked with five of them to brainstorm around manifestation, get-real-ness, and goal setting in a tangible + meaningful way.
Your Social Team
Manu Muraro of Your Social Team is a social media expert and powerhouse workshop creator. She’s helped countless business (both small and biggies) grow their social media presence through her in person workshops. Manu and I have shared perspectives for one another as our passion projects have grown independent of one another but look for us to share collaborative opportunities together in 2019. It’s in the stars!✨
If you’re growing (or slogging through) a social media account and it’s not bringing you the opportunities you imagined, you must check out her latest e-course!
She’s the real deal, y’all. In her words:
After teaching over 70 in-person workshops for more than 300 brands and entrepreneurs, I have finally launched Your Social Team's first ever e-course.
LEGIT INSTA GROWTH is an ionline e-course to help you grow your Instagram account organically and convert those new followers into customers and clients. No over promises and no buzzwords like “growth hacks” and "skyrocket'", because none of that makes any sense.
Atlanta Death Midwifery
Narinder Bazen, founder of Atlanta Death Midwifery, is pioneering the space of natural death services - and carving out space (in a society afraid to utter the words) for conscious care for the dying and deceased. My support for Narinder and ADM sits at the intersection of marketing advice and manifestation + magic. As her friend I am honored to watch her grow this business full of heart and tender care.
A woman after my own heart, Kristin Moody is focusing her energy and heart on the education of EMPATHY through her new venture, Evolve. Facilitating the creation and launch of her brand (logo), website, and supporting collateral was a true joy.
Kristin offers Coaching & Mentorship, Change Facilitation, and she shines as a speaker, presenter, and trainer for all-things-empathy-related. And she’s an all-around badass.
Chris Turner is one of my favorite full-of-heart entrepreneurs. His LinkedIn profile says he’s a:
Product-first entrepreneur on a mission to reinvent higher education. Believer in first principlesthinking, continuous improvement, and the compounding power of habits. Recently sold Tenrocketafter three years spent empowering entrepreneurs around the world.
Yes - he’s all that and more. He’s an awesome human being - an excellent listener - and a creative thinker. Over the last three years Chris and I have worked with and around one another at Switchyards Downtown Club and I’ve had the privilege of seeing some of his big ideas early. To say he’s one to watch is an understatement!
