How much time will the training take?
I care deeply about life/work balance (in that order) and I know your time is valuable. I’ve written these training materials to be as effective and succinct as possible—and I also want to know you’re truly empowered to use and monetize this work when I set you free!
You’re required to schedule and attend the 5 Zoom sessions at your leisure. You will have up to five months to get them all scheduled. You can also book them (pending my calendar availability) in as few as 5 business days.
Plan on a bit of self-driven work after each meeting to be working through the entire library of tools yourself.
Communicate with me via email and/or Marco Polo between meetings, highly recommended, not required.
Utilize the digital community in the private SLACK group as often as you need to for clarifications or ideation as you go.

How much does certification cost?
$1,100 up front + $10/mo to maintain your certification fee.
$1,100 due at sign up secures your access to me and it means we’re shipping out your printed training materials right away. You’ll also have lifetime access to the community aspects for The Authentic Ocean™.
Once you’re certified to teach, you’re required to keep up with a certification maintenance fee while you’re promoting or teaching the materials: $10 monthly (or $111 when paid annually).
To be clear: Your training + certification maintenance fee afford you permissions to teach and monetize the work as well as a host of additional trainee rewards but the certification maintenance fee is not required unless you are monetizing the materials with your audience.

I want this work in the hands of many—so I’ve decided 1:1 training is not the only way for it to be taught. Who is the Provider Training for?
It’s built to support folx in private practice or within a creative organization who are ready to offer their people MORE. It’s perfect for wellness providers from therapists and coaches to healers. It’s for any providers and leaders who understand the value of a robust, beautiful ecosystem of tools that empower and inspire.
How is training customized for each trainee?
If you're an educator, we'll talk about ways for the work to support your students or faculty.

What are the printed Provider Training materials?
Shipped directly to you upon purchase, the materials includes a full color copy of The Authentic Ocean™ map, a printed library of 2-dozen+ gorgeous exercises and lessons, a 50 page provider training workbook, and a Provider Training folder to house it all.
What can I expect from the private Slack group?
The group exists for community and shared experience. We’ll hold on-going Q&A and discussion here. This group will grow as additional trainees are kicking off their learning and I will be an active member in this group. Lifetime group access is offered to everyone who is certified and follows the general group rules, regardless of the status of their certification maintenance fees.
How will the Neon Cardigan Referral Network help me?
Once you’re certified, you’ll receive a badge to add to your website or other marketing materials indicating you are a Certified Facilitator of The Authentic Ocean™ (CFTAO™) and you’ll be added to that referral network. There you’ll share a photo, short bio, area of expertise, and contact information. For folx in private practice, you should expect facilitator spotlights on my social media and blog, referrals from my own client-base, and organic SEO from our marketing efforts.
If you’re not in private practice and you wish to not be included, that’s fine too.
How can I be sure I will learn it all in these five meetings?
If I have done my job at all by the time you’re certified, you can turn around and start MAKING MONEY with The Authentic Ocean™ immediately. The 5 meetings are integral and I have built so many check-points into our training to ensure you’re taking it all in. Part of my superpowers are in knowing how true (or not true) an exchange is. If we’re not tracking together, I’ll know it and I’ll reach out to ensure we’re both showing up the way we need to so you’re empowered and confident.
Why “Authenticity”?
I could have called it a lot of things—there are many other ways to summarize the work. This is about communication, healthy power (leadership), balance, self-awareness, healing…
I’ve named it The Authentic Ocean™ because that word permeates all of the above when you’re aligned and making conscious choices. The vibration of authenticity is supreme! It’s aspirational, virtuous, and as you’ll learn, it’s important and intentional language.
How will I market and monetize The Authentic Ocean™?
First it’s important to note, I’m a COACH, right?! I help people monetize their own ideas all day, every day. Helping you monetize this work is the most natural thing in the world for me and it’s an integral part of your training. You’ll have autonomy to define your own teaching methods for individual or group curriculum and I will act as your guide to making money with it! Obvious expectations:

Use the methodology (and language + visuals) across your social and website presence

Time Investment FAQs
What time are the meetings held?
You will be scheduling your meetings with autonomy based on my calendar availability. Upon purchase, you will be given 5 session tokens to book whenever you’re ready. Get started same week, or plan to start next month. It doesn’t matter to me. From the date of purchase you have 5 months to book all five meetings. If you do not book them all in that time, you will forfeit any remaining sessions. (Don’t plan to do that though! 🤭)
I have a full life. What if I don’t have time to do all the work?
That’s a choice. One of my favorite things to remind folx is that “people do what they want to do.” If you’re invested in expanding your awareness and professional tools, you’ll do the work. Meeting 5 times is simple—a commitment, but simple. Doing the individual work to keep up with the curriculum is also required. I’m just not sure how you could be a teacher of something you’ve never actually learned as a student. 🤷♀️
Why do I have to do each of the exercises myself?
Again, how can you teach it if you’ve never learned it for yourself? Completing each of the exercises is an effort for your own personal growth and for having that first hand knowledge of how it feels. Each exercise will make you think. Expect to spend 10 minutes on some, others you may stew on for hours and come back to more than once. Experiencing the work in this way WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE and make you a better teacher. Plan on it.
What are the weekly office hours about?
In Q4, 2021 I’m going to being holding office hours again. This will be available to all active clients and trainees alike. Attendance is optional, via Zoom. I’ll be there to answer questions. Whoever attends may participate in open discussion on your learnings, share examples of case-load and use-cases, and compare notes on the materials.

Why is there a one-time fee AND a monthly fee?
The one-time certification fee pays for your education and access to my curriculum and expertise. That’s the live-on-screen time with me, the access to me as you’re learning, the community, and the printed materials. You could just pay the initial cost and never plan to MAKE money with the system. It will still have been worth it because this curriculum genuinely changes lives every day. But if you plan to MAKE money with these tools (reminder, that’s the idea for folx in private practice), you must keep up with your monthly certification maintenance fee.
What’s the value in paying the on-going certification fee?
That certification maintenance fee is your ticket to making money with The Authentic Ocean™. It means you can use all of my exercises, lessons, and concepts with your clients or team. You’ll receive a digital set of the materials upon certification to use as part of your own practice. Your maintenance fee also secures your spot in the referral network where we’ll be spotlighting different trainers, promoting your work, and making sure we’re driving traffic to you. The certification maintenance fee is only required when you’re promoting or teaching the work and comes with tons of perks!

How will I pay my certification fee?
The link to activate your certification fee will be sent upon training completion and available upon request at any later date. This will not be published on the public website. If you subscribe monthly, your card is charged $10 every month on the same day. If you subscribe annually, you’ll pay $111 for a year at a time and the subscription will auto-renew on the same date, a year later—unless you cancel in advance. All payments are processed using our secure payment processor, Stripe.
If you’re promoting yourself as a Certified Facilitator of The Authentic Ocean™ (CFTAO™), teaching any of the exercises, or sharing any of the worksheets with your clients or audience, the certification fee is required.
Monthly certification maintenance fees can be suspended or canceled any time you don’t need it. That means you will remove the language and certification badge from your promotional materials, and be taken off our Referral Network page in times of letting the certification lapse.
Training disclaimer: If you are an individual who completes end-user programming with Sarah Price or any certified facilitator of The Authentic Ocean™, you will be trained, but not certified to facilitate. This means you can use the principles in your life - and even share them - how could we stop you, and why would we? But you can’t offer the training to the public as part of your paid practice and you won’t appear in our referral network.
